Hmm rtl is quite an overloaded name. In the software field it means:

* Region Trap Library, which is a library that allows finer granularity memory
region protection

* Run Time Library: An entire family of commercial operating systems
an one open source operating system which is a clone of an operating
system from the commercial family uses the RTL prefix for denoting
run time library functions accessible from kernel mode.

Wouldn't it be better to to use rtol and not rtl in order to avoid
confusion?
