I am sure that the final result will be nice.
for the current intermediate version I have some comments:
- I think that the default screen should be the "What is the Haifa Linux
club" instead of the image + enter
- all the projects should be together & all the lecture should be together
like

Lectures
  Next lectures (+ dates)
  slides for future lectures (order by lecture's date)
  slides of past lectures (ordered alphabetically by subject)
