Sh can also do all those "silly jobs", and you won't have to "move from there
to the bourne shell". But seeing that you also don't like csh, I guess I'm
preaching to the choir :)

My point exactly! The Technion is so fixated on pine that they don't even
consider the possibility that someone will want a different mailer on tx.
Or maybe I'm wrong, and by now that are fixated on Outlook, to the point
that the don't care about pine either?

It's not that pine is bad, by the way - I am just curious why they can't
show a little more pluralism. Especially when users get such tiny quotas
and can't really install stuff for themselves.
