It is a little script I wrote to parse the dhcpd.leases file into /etc/hosts.   It's that I obtained a DNS caching server, which claimes to understand dhcpd.leases, but does not. It can. however, understand /etc/hosts, so I decided to waste my time and to write a little script to do the transformation.   It is good for small LANs, where there is a DHCP server, but no one really wants to either update bind, or to write a hosts. file for every workstation.   I find it a good and simple solution for such environment, and I supply my handmade script to you, if you want it.
