[Haifux] ASAT and clubs some info

I thoght the list might want to know a bit of
my expirence with getting ASAT to support clubs.
ASAT supports several clubs, most importantly it
supports the DEBATE club.
ehat does this mean? it means we(the debate club) get
an allounce of 50 NIS a week(WAW!) which is used
for snacks(it is more than enough),
however this works by bringing a KABLA/HESBUNIT MAS.


asat let's us use once a week(MONDAY) two rooms,
MOADON NALE BEIT, MOADON YEDIAT HARATZ,
which are in the RIFKIN DORMS.

lately, the position of RAKAZ MOADON DEBATE
got on to the pay-role, I am not sure if this is
from ASAT or from the dean's office. I am also
not sure how much he makes, probably not much.

the DEBATE club much like the LINUX club,
has a special event every now and then.
yesterday we had a miniature national competition
this included taking over half a dozen rooms in 
ULMAN and extra food(money for food). 
and special passes for everyone two bring their
cars into the technion.

as far as adverisment, the club gets help
as far as putting signs up all around CAMPUS,
and there have been several(small) articles about
the debate club in cooly.

neither asat or anyone else has ever told us
how to do anything, if that is what you are
worried about.

obviosly the debate club and the linux club
have different needs, it makes sense the
support could also be slightly different.

now I think you can make a more educated decision.
