Not true at all. Where did you get into that conclusion from?

During the last instaparties (over the last 2.5 years), we have gone with
both Mandrake and Redhat versions all the way (together), and during the
installation themselves we've mainly installed Mandrakes. This very last
meeting, I also supported Mandrake, but for some justified problems with
laptops (which we'd believed that many of these would arrive), most of the
rest of the club decided to go on Redhat 8.0 (for a change!), and this is
what we did. Indeed, we've had some typical "bugs" there as well, such as
unidentical graphics card leads toward messy configuration with the X.
Another X problem is that you can't install it if you don't have SOME
mouse (and to use your mouse later at home), and the "default"
installation doesn't hold some very important programs, which we'd
believed that would naturally be tagged.

Now, it seems that Mandrake 9.1 works better, but nobody knows what will
happen until next winter. Things change. We might go for both distros, and
we might choose only one of them. This is where you can raise your voice,
and if you arrive to the club, you will be able to do it as well. Until
then (around October) - we are peaceful :)

        Adir.
