The problem isn't that it's not widely adopted by users, I wouldn't care,
but that it's not widely enough supported by software and hardware, and for
this particular project, that actually matters.

I'd be happy if people posted ogg files or even uncompressed files as well,
and I did suggest that in the guidelines as an option.  Also, I'm certainly
not going to stop someone from using ogg files in Opsound if they feel
strongly about it, it will just make their integration with other phases of
the project more difficult.
