Pretty nice project. Are you doing this from scratch?

I started a few months ago to write a Python script so to interpret a
still picture into some sound, using discrete objects distinguished on
it to feed several generators (I've done MIDI - easy; thinking of Csound
now, but I need to work a bit more on relevant picture information
extraction).
Although being slow, Python is just great to throw ideas on paper and
get them roughly working.

But something like the accessproject, if being run on real-time, would
even allow to generate a time-evolving sound depending on objects
movements and colors/brightness perceived.
