Does it require a Ubuntu nfsroot, or will it work as well with a Debian nfsroot + Ubuntu basefile?
I'm using a lenny nfsroot to install lenny, hardy and lucid, and it works great. Of course, this is still using FAI 3.2.17 - I can't guarantee to you that it hasn't broken in the meantime, but I doubt it.
The disadvantage is that you feel a little left out when people using an Ubuntu nfsroot talk about their pain and suffering. ;)
