Hi Kurt, This time it worked after I placed the module sources under the drivers/scsi directory. The module loaded on SMP kernel without giving unresolved-symbols errors. I guess, the key is to use the right CFLAGS while compiling the module. You were right. I was using my own makefile. After I modified the makefile, everything went smoothly.
