Tally 7.2 is now Linux certified 
        
Tally, the leading provider of accounting and inventory business application
solutions, has announced their partnership with Red Hat, the world’s leading
provider of open source to the enterprise. Tally 7.2 will now be made
available also on the Red Hat Enterprise Linux platform. Linux is less
vulnerable to viruses. The SME segment an now benefit from the advantages of
Linux - performance, security and value on the desktop. The objective of
this partnership is to provide the growing SME market a secure, stable and a
cost effective alternative for their computing needs. Bharat Goenka, MD of
Tally Solutions, said: “We see this as one of our first steps in our
initiative to provide a PC with low cost of ownership. With our commitment
to power of simplicity, we now also embark on the power of Flexibility to
the users of Tally, in their choice of operating systems”
