I have thought of starting a group like that. I already have a company set up (WebTech Staffing, LLC) and have a PEO that handles payroll (so you don't have to deal with taxes) and have the ability to get Group insurance if I can get a group of at least 5 people to sign on. I'd be willing to be involved in putting this together and as long as my company make a small profit (and doesn't lose money!) we could do it that way. Anyone else interested in such an opportunity?

My wife and are moving back to Texas after being in Colorado for several years. I have a quick question about Health Insurance. When we previously lived in Texas we could not get maternity coverage unless we were on a Group Insurance policy. Does anyone know if that is the same? Also, what are you other independent guys doing for insurance, individual policies? What I would really like to find is a group of Independent people or some sort of association I can join that provides Group Insurance, anyone know of anything like that? Thanks for any help and I hope to get to some of the CFUG meetings once we get settled in there. Jeff Pierson
