John, I've heard that companies with non-English speaking employees sometime require non-plural naming because it is hard to spell the plural form of many words correctly.
For instance these three words each require different changes to pluralize: user -> user(s) address -> address(es) charity -> charit(ies) If anyone knows the validity of this please post. Thanks.
