Well, you could start by translating every Portuguese guitar book or
manuscript from the 17th to 19th centuries...Too much to ask? Oh well...

Actually there isn't that much from the 17th century ....unless it is lurking unseen in Portuguese libraries.

There are three mss. of music - in tab., no text...and then there is Dona Policarpia's Portuguese version of Amat. And of course the Paixao Ribeiro book which is late 18th century.

What else is there?

Monica

Seriously, Bruno, I appreciate your offer, and if I come across something I
need translated, I'll get in touch. Many thanks.

I speak Portuguese, if you need help...
