How so, Vance? I have a double first course lute too, and don't see the connection. What's different in first and second or third courses?DavidI will offer my opinion on the right hand. I play a Lute with a doubled first course. Having the ability to collapse the first joint of the digits on the right hand is crucial in getting a proper sound out of the instrument strung in this manner.VWTo get on or off this list see list information at http://www.cs.dartmouth.edu/~wbc/lute-admin/index.html No virus found in this incoming message.Checked by AVG - http://www.avg.com Version: 8.0.138 / Virus Database: 270.5.0/1558 - Release Date: 7/17/2008 9:56 AM
