Dear all: Need your help. I'm trying to install Lyx on the comps of two of my (Window-using) friends, because I need to work and transfer files with them, while editing.
Somehow, my attempts to install it have so far been unsucessful. When I took the lighter version of the Windows Lyx download (about 21MB, I think), there were some "integrity check" issues. On taking the entire bundle (about 100+ MB), I found that there was some missing software, and it was taking hours to download. Any tips for an easy install on Windows? Would be grateful!
