Thanks, Rich.  I haven't seen any significant vampirism here (although a 
few users may be insufficiently appreciative of the extensive 
documentation that comes with LyX), but I read some technical forums 
where there are a few alpha vampires, one or two of whom have been 
rather tiring lately.
