No, but I did deleted some "empty entries" in the file helper settings. (See the attached screenshot.) They keep coming back though. Could this be what is causing my problems with the QT plug-in not working anymore?
Is there a file-helper list preference file I can delete that would be automatically recreated and would fix the QT problem? --- As for Quicken Web Connect, the downloaded qfx files end up on the desktop but they don't sport a Quicken icon. When double-clicked, they open into TextEdit and look like XML files without an actual <xml> header. Using Get Info to set the file to open with Quicken changes the file's icon to a Quicken data file icon, but when I double-click the file, Quicken launches and displays the following message: "This is an auxiliary file for Quicken. The best way to open your finances in Quicken is to double-click on the Quicken application or on your Quicken data file." The only way to import the qfx file inside Quicken is to manually launch Quicken and use the Import Web Connect command from the file menu. However, under Classic, IE would automatically invoke Quicken and Quicken would then instantly import the file, requiring no user intervention. I just can't get this behavior to reproduce under X...
