If you can offer details - would the problems be in this case either
political, schedule, or technical...

As the growing threads shows, it's certainly a desired idea..

Which brings up an idea - how about creating some sort of 'plug-in'
architecture that would allow adding features to IE. A more modular approach
that would allow direct access to the core interface architecture, and thus
such features could be later added easily - either by MS as an additional
download, or third-parties.

Is this possible?
