Is it possible to use mapguide-rest to append/ draw new points, lines and polygons by digitizing in mapguide to an existing shapefile or SDF file on the server? If it is possible, is easy to manage the coding for this process when upgrading to a new version of mapguide, for example? Hopefully, working with shapefiles and SDF files will be a lot easier to manage than using SQL server and oracle spatial and phprunner. thanks
