Is it a requirement to create a .mgp pakage from feature source oracle? My plan workflow is to connect to Oracle--> choose a spatial table and create a vector layer definition from the Oracle database --> once I have the layer then I should able to use that layer to create a web map application right? So there is no need to create a .mgp package of the entire Oracle db and then Load Package from Site Administrator right?
Any pointers would be appreciated.
