Hi Jeff,

Well, I disagree with your characterization of the "regime" in the former SU was a 
"ruling class". I tend to agree with Trotsky .

His position was that the bureaucracy was a caste siting on top of the gains of 
October and thus the need for a politicalk revolution and not a new social revcolution 
in order to smash it.
