Erik: that is quirklily most interesting. Over the weekend I listened to 
both IL PICCOLO MARAT and CAVALLERIA, and played over all the CAV tunes. I 
am sure Signor Mascagni's spirit impelled me to do that, (and curse him for 
his tenor tessituras that make one gasp and die, at best).
