I find the interpretation by Tiboris acceptable, but not too
exciting. My favorite version of the opera at the moment is this one,
with Jaia and Matioli, conducted by Pietro Argento:

The sound is monophonic and the CD is hard to find. Definitely go with
the Elysium version for a great stereo sound.

I have to confess that Silvano is, as an opera, my least favorite
opera by Mascagni. The music is beautiful though!
