I'm using xalan 2.3.1 and the xerces that comes with it. The lazy 
initialized Collection comes from the o/r mapping tool 
(hibernate.sf.net),  (its a 1:n mapping that maps to a collection, and 
is only initialized when the Collection is accessed for the first time). 
Do you think that changing the transformer could help here?
