If you've modified your BIOS so nothing but the HDD is an available boot option
the USB stick will not work. Try hitting F8 and going into safe mode or hit
the power button as it's booting and on the next power it should prompt to go
into the Windows Recovery mode. That should get you to Bitlocker for sure.

I'm pretty sure that should make it go into recovery mode. Like Wes said, we
would see them go into recovery mode by plugging in a USB NIC because that's a
boot device. If you are using a PIN there's a way to get there from the PIN
entry screen. Just hit ESC on the screen where you'd enter the PIN>

Tried that, did not work. If you are using a pin, will it not go into recovery
mode? That is the only reason I can come up with.

Change something in the BIOS like the boot order.

How do you put the system into recovery mode? I have been trying to figure
that one out. Maybe I have been using the wrong Google foo.....

Either look in SQL or try to recover the key (i.e. put the system into recovery
mode and try to recover the key from the console).

If I have a pc that already has Bitlocker enabled on it and I install the MBAM
client. Is there a way to verify that is has stored the keys on the MBAM
server? Working on testing out that scenario as this will the be way most of
our clients will be installed/enabled. I have not found a report yet that
states that. I am guessing I will have to go look in SQL, but thought I would
ask first.
