Also, I am wondering how do you handle updates, specifically when it
requires a reboot? In my part time retail job, we just leave our computers
on 24 hours a day even when the store is closed over night. This leaves
plenty of time for IT to do whatever they need. However, in a school
setting, there is no way that would be an acceptable option from a power
usage standpoint.

I'd really hate for a computer to pop up and demand a reboot in the middle
of a teachers class. My other idea is to tell teachers to leave their
computers on overnight on specific days like patch Tuesday.  However, it
seems like there shouldn't need to be that much user interaction. Sorry to
get away from the main topic of MDT, but I am just trying to figure this
