Hello, I'm interested in computing the reflection coefficients of a grating for each diffraction order separately. In this message, http://www.mail-archive.com/meep-discuss@ab-initio.mit.edu/msg00882.html it was said that "your best option is to accumulate the Fourier transform in time of the fields, by yourself in the Scheme code, for a set of points in the flux plane, and then use these points to compute the spatial Fourier transform of the fields." This is a bit cryptic to me. Can anyone give some further explanation on how to do this? Eq. (13.7) in Taflove gives the time-dependent field amplitude for the m-th mode as a Fourier sum, but I don't understand how to use this with meep. Thanks, Matt _______________________________________________ meep-discuss mailing list meep-discuss@ab-initio.mit.edu http://ab-initio.mit.edu/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/meep-discuss
