URL: <http://savannah.nongnu.org/bugs/?17563> Summary: mhonarc trashes malformed HTML Project: MHonArc Submitted by: jab Submitted on: Tuesday 08/29/2006 at 02:56 Category: Mail Parsing Severity: 3 - Normal Item Group: None Status: None Privacy: Public Assigned to: None Open/Closed: Open Operating System: Linux Perl Version: 5.8.x Component Version: 2.6.16 Fixed Release: _______________________________________________________ Details: As mentioned in bug #15415, broken HTML mail from YahooGroups (and by broken I mean really broken, e.g. two <head> sections) gets swallowed up by mhonarc. I have little sympathy for broken HTML mail, but maybe it is a good idea to run the equivalent of 'tidy' over any HTML mail. That way the disgusting ivalid mess doesn't worm its way onto the web. Consdier it a defensive measure. What do you think? _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.nongnu.org/bugs/?17563> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.nongnu.org/ --------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off this list, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message text UNSUBSCRIBE MHONARC-DEV
