Christian,

We have some data on this, but it is several years old now. Let me know if
this is of interest.

Subject: [mobile-society] Studies of musical ringtones on mobile phones

Hello all,
I am currently finishing the first draft of the study on the uses of the
uses of musical ringtones on mobile phones. This looks like a trivial
artefact and topic but i think, this is the whole point, that it raises
some interesting sociological issues
There might be work done on the subject by some of you which i might not
be aware of, and i will be glad to be pointed to it and quote it
as well as discussing results and findings
Best
Christian
