> Rich, Roger, Platt and Y'all: As I start this post I wonder if it can > really be done. And I wonder if I can persuade you without putting you > to sleep or pissing you off? I beg you to indulge me. Dear David, Of course you piss me off, but it makes my creative glands work, and therefore I am grateful too you, for you pissing me off. As we try to reveal MoQ by chewing it from different perspectives [or Points of view, Exit points, SPQ -Static Patterns of Quality], I suggest us to get rid of the nonsense behavior of "I reject it, I don't know why, but I reject it". This is common behavior of the SOM [Subject Object Metaphysics], where you can standalone regardless your opinions. Here [MoQ] this is not the case. What pisses me off, is an experience that I cannot contain what is with what I use to think as quality [my SPQ]. In a way we can see it as Hess law [I hope I didn't misspell his name] regarding Systems in state of dynamic equilibrium: 1. Systems are in a state of dynamic equilibrium [stable]. 2. If we enter an interference to the system above, the system will try to eliminate the interference and return to its state of equilibrium. 3. If the elimination of the interference is impossible, the system will create a new dynamic equilibrium containing the new interference. As we can clearly see [at least I can], this on the Biological level can be easily seen as the work of an efficient immune system. This goes for the cultural [intellectual] level as well, as cultural immune system. So pissing me off, is stage two of my immune system conduct according to Hess law. If I can eliminate it [it doesn't hold enough quality to persist], I return to my previous equilibrium, if it persists I grow [alter my equilibrium in a way that will include this interference too].This is why I'm happy you piss me off. Seriously now, a higher level of personal engagement is needed. If experience [of quality] is prior to anything else [including my SPQ], i.e. I want to live a life according to DQ, then the first thing is to let me experience whatever is said BEFORE AGREEING OR DISAGREEING TO IT. POLITENESS IS AN ENEMY OF SUCH EXPERIENCING. So my commitment is to take in [to experience] each idea uttered here, regardless if I like it or not, and reject it only in a qualitative way [in my case it would be reason]. I urge al to do the same, this will intensify the quality of discussion, the digestion of the ideas, and the rejection of the low quality components. A shorter way to put it will cut the bullshit, letting us grabbing the bull by his horns. and don't forget to be gentle Avid icq 6598359 MOQ Online Homepage - http://www.moq.org Mail Archive - http://alt.venus.co.uk/hypermail/moq_discuss/ Unsubscribe - http://www.moq.org/md/index.html MD Queries - [EMAIL PROTECTED]
