Thank you to Rebecca S for pointing out that Hwy 95 and Redwing Ave intersect in two locations. This segment is in Franconia Twp south of 260th Street. Dickcissels seen along field edges to northwest of 95 and Redwing intersection and on southeast corner of 260th and Redwing singing in bushes, tall vegetation or on overhead wire. Good views from road.
Michelle ----------- I will add Chisago County to the Dickcissel sound-off. After reading about the uptick in sightings and having never seen one, I checked out some nearby fields and readily saw three singing individuals along a one-mile stretch of road (Redwing Ave just north of Hwy 95).
