The Summer Tanager at the MN Landscape Arboretum was easy to find this morning
by several observers from the road near the rhododendron garden entrance
(44.857, -93.613). The bird was singing nonstop from prominent perches (as
usual it seems) until about 10am when it finally took a break. Not too bad a
bird for my MN #300! I noticed last year's reports of this bird seemed to dry
up by July 3rd, but not sure if that is effort based.
