Miriam and I birded Carver County yesterday and found
the main New Germany wetland flooded. Shorebirds here
today, gone tomorrow. Because we were close, decided to
stop by the Tacoma wetlands south of Mayer, fully expecting
them to be flooded. They were in prime condition, though
not masses of birds... the usual suspects but good viewing.
The nature of our summer rains are bouncing birds around
a bit. Please keep reporting shorebird locations
