Dear MPB User Community, I have spent several days building mpb, h5utils, vis5d-5.2 and all of the supporting libraries. The code mpb seems to work well as do mpb-data, h5topng, h5info, etc.
However, when I attempt to visualize the data set for the "Diamond" example problem described in the Data Analysis Tutorial, the maximum and minimum values reported by v5dinfo are ALL zero. The geometry appears in the vis5d window, but the contour levels are all zero. I have visualized the example file "hole.v5d" without any difficulty, so Vis5d appears to work properly. I am wondering if there may be a bug in h5tov5d or perhaps an error in my build. I am using a Redhat Enterprise 5 system. If anyone has encountered this problem, any suggestions to overcome it will be appreciated. The output from "v5dinfo diamond.v5d" is shown below: File format: v5d version: 4.3 Compression: 1 byte per gridpoint. header size=11214 sizeof(v5dstruct)=334068 NumVars = 2 Var Name Units Rows Cols Levels LowLev MinVal MaxVal 1 epsilon 45 39 37 0 0 0 2 dpwr.k06. 45 39 37 0 2.35099e-38 2.35099e-38 NumTimes = 1 Step Date(YYDDD) Time(HH:MM:SS) Day 1 00000 0:00:00 Friday Generic linear vertical coordinate system: Bottom Bound: 0.000000 Increment between levels: 1.000000 Generic linear projection: North Boundary: 0.000000 West Boundary: 0.000000 Row Increment: 1.000000 Column Increment: 1.000000 Thank you.
