Guys,

Thanks for the answers.. !!
I'm now using a standard TPA segment and then transfer the data using LDIR.

Btw.. Laurens: no i'm not working on DOME i'm just doing some things with memman i've
always wanted to do ( i like memman for its neat design and i know to little of the memory
system to write a manager myself)

Btw.. John : i saw a reaction of you too.. did you know that when i'm using compass 1.2 (or later)
and i have a 2nd memory mapper (besides the internal one) in my Turbo-r it ALWAYS compiles using normal slow Z80 mode !!!
If i remove the mapper then everything is fine but 256k is to little for compass.

Thanks and if i have another question you'll see it here :)

Subject: BDOS

Hi,

Does BDOS use the standard TPA segments if you use the BDOS call random block read to read a
file ?

The reason i ask is that whenever i want to load the file in a segment switched by my memory
manager (memman) the data is not present ! It seems BDOS switches back the standard TPA segment and
places the data in the standard TPA segment whenever loading. After that my segment is placed back... ?

Only if i do not switch any segments or use the standard segment from the TPA the data is loaded
correctly ?

Is this correct ? or am i doing something wrong ?
