The Localisation department at Symantec Ltd is currently engaged in developing an MT process using commercially available MT engines. We are currently in a proof of concept phase for this project and are looking for an able practitioner to assist Symantec in the future development of this process.

The right person will have the fit the following description:

Ideally educated to at least a degree level, you should have relevant work or academic experience in the use of commercially available Machine Translation engines. Experience with development in Visual Basic, Java and XSL is a must.  Knowledge of Regex, COM, XML is also essential .The ideal candidate will have a linguistic background coupled with excellent programming skills.
