[Mt-list] NIST Open MT08 Human Assessments tool

MT folks,

As announced earlier, the human assessments portion of NIST Open MT08 
will be implemented as a volunteer-based model.  In order for 
participants to have their system(s) included in the human assessments, 
they will have to provide one volunteer per system to perform a portion 
of the human assessments.  We are expecting no more than 10 hours of 
assessment work from each volunteer.

You can now try  the web-based evaluation  tool and get an impression of 
the effort involved here: http://mt.nist.gov/MT1/login.php.

If you are participating in MT08 but have not signed up for human 
assessments yet, please consider doing so.  Please note that otherwise 
your system will not be included in the human assessments.  The form can 
be found here:

If you are not participating in MT08 but would like to contribute to the 
human assessments, that would be very welcome too.  In that case, please
