This is a horrible thing to happen. Just one more thing to taint our industry by people doing stupid things. At the beginning of the year I had to take a class to get my CE hours. In the class we talked about acetone and its flash point being so high. I used to heat acetone as well but learned it's much safer to have the clients just soak in a bowl with a towel covering so that their own body heat is what is conducting heat. The instructor said it's even dangerous to pull the lamp down to heat the towel over top of the bowl because it could ignite the acetone as well when the towel is pulled up. Now, I'm not sure if there is any merit to it but, we all just need to take extra precautions. I have heard awesome things about the sonic remover. Any thoughts?
