Can you help me track my problem status?

I am not a net-snmp org member and really don’t know the rules to have my voice
heard.

Thanks.

 Subject: RFC 4293 IPv6 default router lifetime SNMP get error

 Dear all

 I am testing SNMP IPv6 RFC 4293 functions using net-snmp5.4.2.1 on FreeBSD 7.2.

 I use the following command to get ipDefaultRouterLifetime OID in the
ipDefaultRouterTable

 snmp command:

 snmpget -v 2C -c IPv6Ready
udp6:3ffe:501:ffff:100::303ffe:501:100:0213:49ff:fe00:2
1.3.6.1.2.1.4.37.1.4.4.254.128.0.4.0.0.0.0.220.56.255.254.238.127.125.4

 the result is index out of range

 we try to debug this and found out that ipDefaultRouterLifetime

 1.3.6.1.2.1.4.37.1.4.4.254( value is not allow after 115 but when using IPv6
link-local address with FE80 254 value should be considered within normal range)

 We also try this snmp get operation on snmp++ platform

 snmpGet 3ffe:501:ffff:100:0213:49ff:fe00:2
1.3.6.1.2.1.4.37.1.4.4.254.128.04.0.0.0.0.220.56.255.254.238.127.125.4 -v 2
-CIPv6Ready

 Oid = 1.36.1.2.1.4.37.1.4.4.254.128.0.4.0.0.0.0.2.20.56.255.254.238.127.125.4

 Value = 1800

 The result is correct and as expected.

 We need your help in this get error.

 Your prompt response will be highly appreciated.
