Kevin - I am running a compaq presario desktop 1670 win98, 64mb and I have the same problem. I agree, it is annoying. I have tried shutting down all other programs and that helps a bit. the time lag is not as bad when you are not online. One strategy I have found is to pull the window away from the NetMeeting window before applying any changes. At least that way, you can still see the video. Also, consider cutting the video before going in to adjust other changes, then re-establishing video once the change takes effect. Finally, consider two tin cans, a piece of twine and a Polaroid camera. Although net meeting is a first attempt at wide spread video conferencing, My personal experience has found it to be pretty poor.
