Hi guys,
hello Frederic, how are you doing under the new flag :-) ?
following marketing decisions, we are switching from Mozilla application suite to Firefox/Thunderbird/Nvu.
-firefox, thunderbird and nvu will move from contrib to cooker main. I try to integrate all currents patches/features which are in mozilla to those packages (which will mean doing work 3 times instead of one :()
you know i liked these 3 because i thought they have the greatest backing in open source world. but now i see that mozilla.org is dragging their feet, the big deficiencies and hundreds of important bugs for example in thunderbird are mostly being ignored, even when privacy is exposed by webbugs in spam etc.
nvu on the other hand is, while still very much lacking, is currently the best free wysiwyg web editor. now my question: i have all 6 easyurpmi sources, but software manager does not find NVU in 10.1. do i have to install it from somewhere else ?
kind regards philippe
