Hi all, Gerhard Weisinger has described a situation that may warrant a new feature, and I'd like to get some input on how important this feature is for others. Basically, it is this: How does the user update specific data at specific times? For example, a certain website may update their news every minute, but you may know that you're only going to want the information at 8am local time. One way is to put your News Clipper commands in separate files and update those files at certain times, but that doesn't work if you want to update different News Clipper commands in the page at different times. Gerhard's solution is to go into the handler and modify the GetUpdateTimes function, but users shouldn't have to modify the handlers like that. (Especially since the new versions of NC can do automatic bugfix downloads, which would cause your changes to be overwritten.) --------- My suggestion is this: have a special attribute for every input command called "updatetimes" that takes a date specification just like GetUpdateTimes: <input name=yahooquotes stocks=lnux, msft updatetimes="8"> <input name=calvin updatetimes="8am Sun"> Any thoughts? How important would this feature be?
