When running configure before compiling newsx use the --with-newsconfig
parameter:
./configure --with-newsconfig=/usr/local/news/lib/innshellvars \
--with-newslib=/usr/local/news/lib \
--with-newshome=/usr/local/news \
When running newsx use the --config parameter:
/usr/local/bin/newsx --config \
--forget-inactive --end "#" \
-W 20 -Z -i -X 150 --rnews NEWSFEED SERVER
