I have just set up the Old Bird recording device and have begun to monitor the skies over Southern California for nighttime flight calls. Since it is spring this is a migratory research project. I am posting this to see if anyone else has attempted to record the migratory patterns along the western coastal region. My listening station (my home) is in Laguna Beach, CA about 5 blocks from the beach. I am interested in hearing from anyone with information or interest in this area of study.
