Hello Folks, I am new to the list and new to NSPs. Just purchased a set and am landlocked in the states - Oklahoma. I saw the thread on sharing tunes and at the risk of repeating what some have already stated will add a few thoughts. One other option, if you are a Mac user, saving as a PDF is part of the print options. Also for Mac (and I think PCs) are a couple of good ABC shareware programs. Barfly is one I use, which will give you notation (sheet music) and play the music (midi) with your choice of instruments. Melody Assistant is also interesting and have played with it some as well. When you install it on your computer, it gets listed under printer options. So, when you want to turn a document into a pdf, you select Primo from the drop down list instead of your usual printer. Maybe something more formal will eventually be needed, but this seems a really good starting point. So full marks Helen! I have worked out how to use Noteworthy but can go no further as that is about my computing limit. So, my suggestion is this: If you want to post a tune for all to see and use, send it to [EMAIL PROTECTED] It will then be posted on a page sponsored by our business (well we have plenty of room on our web site) Please send it in pdf format. If you want to see and download the tunes, go to www.nznps.org.nz and there will be a link through to the page of tunes on the furniture restoration site. It may sound complex, but try it. Even I could do it!
