Below is (what I assume to be) a rustic dance tune that popped into my head
this morning and wouldn't go away. Perhaps one of you good folk could
*please* put me out of my misery by telling me what it is because I'm far
more likely to have heard it somewhere than composed it on the spot. It was
only an elevenses mug of tea (honest) !

X:1
T:Wozzis, Mr E Tune ?
R:rustic dance ?
M:C
L:1/8
Q:1/8=120
I:Set speed manually in Abc Navigator (it ignores Q !)
S:Steve Collins' head

.d4 .B4 | c3 z A3 z | G2>A2 .B2 F2 | G2>A2 B4 |\
.d4 .B4 | c3 z A3 z |1 G2>A2 .B2 G2 | D8 :|2 G8 | G8 ||
P:B
G2>A2 .B2 G2 | A2>B2 .c2 A2 | B2>c2 .d2 B2 | d8 |\
.d4 .B4 | c3 z A3 z |1 G2>A2 .B2 G2 | D8 :|2 G8 | G8 ||

NB: I wouldn't be at all surprised if my ABC above differs from published
notations simply because, having never seen it written down, I wrote it to
sound like what I heard in my mind's ear (before adding repeats to double it
up into a typical 32 bar dance verse). It's not in my Playford collection
but there's still (say) IoC, mediaeval, Morris, mumming ...

Cheers,
Steve Collins
