[nsroots] Lachlan (or Lauchlin) MACLEAN, Keppoch, Antigonish

In his "History of the County of Antigonish" D J Rankin writes of a Lauchlin 
MacLean who came from the island of Coll to the Keppoch.  This Lauchlin had 
five sons (Archy, John, Norman, Neil and Alex) and three daughters (Mary, 
Christina and Isabel), but Rankin gives no indication of dates - either for 
the birth of the children or for Lauchlin's own arrival in Nova Scotia.

Can anyone shed some light on this family?
