Deaths (07/05/09)COFFIN, Lennox Hubert (Lenn) Passed away peacefully July 2, 2009 in Beaconsfield, Qc. Lenn was born in Farewell Cove, Gaspe, December 17, 1924 to the late Captain Hubert Watson Coffin and the late Ruby Ascah. Upon graduation from Queen's University as a Chemical Engineer, Lenn was employed by Canadian International Paper (CIP). For two and a half years, he also worked for Anil NS. Lenn was recognized as an innovative leader in the Pulp and Paper Industry by his peers, both inside and outside of CIP. His memory lives on with his sweetheart of more than sixty-three years, Erma and his daughters and their husbands, Judy and Pat (Bardon of Mississauga, On), Patsy and Terry (Collins of Hubley, Ns) and Debbie and Mike (Johns of Beaconsfield, Qc). He is also remembered by grandchildren Christopher Bardon (and his wife Emma), Jonathan Collins, Trevor Bardon, Kelly Collins, Brandon Johns and Stephanie Johns, as well as his great-granddaughter Katie Bardon. Lenn was predeceased by his brothers Percy, Gerald and Ross and is survived by his sister Ruth Herbst (Kanata) and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service celebrating Lenn's life will be held Saturday, August 1, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Beaconsfield United Church, 202 Woodside Road, Beaconsfield, Qc.
