Dear Searchers, Yesterday I put a question to you all regarding my search efforts and an organization from which I had been trying, unsuccessfully, to get a response.
Because the organization that I named valued its reputation, the staff got in touch with me and first offered an apology and second asked if I would make sure that it was, in fact, their organization. I have checked my phone records and contacts and would like to apologize to Janice Fralic-Brown and her staff at the Nova Scotia Genealogical Society. I am sorry to have caused the slightest stain on this organization's reputation. The organization that I have had such a difficult time with is based in Shelburne. I have answered each email that I received about this issue personally, but here in the same public forum that I initially looked to for answers and help--to all of those folks who offered me advice, direction and assistance, I say THANK YOU. And again to the Nova Scotia Genealogical Society--I apologize. Cordially, Sunny I can't tell you how much I appreciated your response. Because you were so certain that it was not your organization, I've spent the better part of the last day looking through phone records, contacts and dates. As I went through the records I realized that I did, indeed, have the wrong organization. I had spoken to someone named "Pam" at the Shelburne Country Archives and Genealogical Society. I will post an apology and correction on the board tonight.
